The Minister of Foreign Trade of the Democratic Republic of Congo presented, on Friday, to President of the Republic Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, his Grand Builder Award, granted to him on December 14, 2025 by the TROPHÉE TOMBWAMA Coordination, ACP learned from Dr. Julien Paluku Kahongya's X account.
"On the sidelines of this Friday, December 19, 2025 Council of Ministers, I fulfilled a duty: presenting to H.E. Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi, President of the Republic, his Grand Builder Award granted to him on December 14, 2025 by the TROPHÉE TOMBWAMA Coordination. For his vision, coupled with leadership, in implementing public policies related to the construction and rehabilitation of infrastructure in the DRC, and his proven central role in the delivery of major works," the post read.
According to Minister Paluku, the Trophy's Coordination, led by Aimé Mutombo, entrusted the jury to a multidisciplinary team that recognized the merit of individuals and private and state companies that distinguished themselves in 2025.
"My warmest congratulations to the President of the Republic for the leadership he continues to provide so that the DRC regains its finest form in terms of structuring infrastructure," wrote Minister Paluku.
As a reminder, the prestigious Panorama Room of the Fleuve Congo Hotel hosted an exceptional evening marking the third edition of the TROPHÉE TOMBWAMA, a ceremony dedicated to honoring the builders of Congo, including Félix Tshisekedi, known as "Fatshi Béton."
Held under the theme "Building now for a thriving Congo," this edition brought together figures from political, administrative, economic and social circles, all united by a shared vision: to actively contribute to the sustainable development of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
